Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Until you choose, PostHog does not load, nothing is recorded and no analytics cookies are set. Closing the banner without choosing counts as a rejection.

If you reject, PostHog still counts page views and clicks without cookies or any storage in your browser: it works out a short-lived anonymous ID on its own servers instead. Session recording stays off.

Your choice lasts 6 months, then the banner asks again. To change it now, use (also at the bottom of every page). Withdrawing consent deletes the PostHog data stored on fundbizpro.com and reloads the page.

Essential

These keep the site working the way you asked: your cookie choice, a franchisor sign-in, a report you paid for. They stay in your browser, identify nobody to third parties, and are set whether or not you accept.

Analytics

Set only after you press Accept. They come from PostHog, which measures visits and records sessions so we can see which guides and tools help and where a page confuses people or breaks.

Services that set no cookies

Cloudflare, our host, adds its Web Analytics script to every page. It counts page views and load times for everyone without cookies or browser storage. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address with each font request but sets no cookies.

Cookies set on other sites

If you buy a report, checkout happens on Stripe's own page, and Stripe sets its own cookies there for fraud prevention under its own cookie policy. Links to lenders, the SBA and other sources take you to sites with their own cookies. We cannot see or control those, and they are not covered by the choice you make here.

How we use the data these collect is in the privacy policy.
